NASA has compiled a large photo
gallery of still images, including images of the solar system, the
Earth and its oceans, flight vehicles, robotics, aeronautical and space
flight equipment, and mission patches. A video
gallery includes footage shot from space vehicles; satellite views
of hurricanes and monsoons; and live video from NASA Television.

The SIR-C/X-SAR
project, a joint US-German-Italian initiative, provides space
radar images useful to scientists in disciplines ranging from
archaeology to climatology.

The SeaWiFS
Project allows users to create custom-designed satellite images
for any region of the world.

The Nine
Planets, compiled by software engineer Bill Arnett, illustrates
the planets and major moons in our solar system. Resources include
images, sounds, and movies; Arnett provides an index
of online images of the solar system.

National Radio Astronomy Observatory provides access to a
virtual exhibit of NRAO related
images, and general
astronomical images, including stars, galaxies, and comets.

The Space Environment Center's solar
images collection offers a glance at solar images received each
day.

National Center for Atmospheric Research offers a peek at
water vapor imagery from GOES-8.
NCAR also offers a gallery
of interesting imagery taken from space and collected or analyzed at
NCAR.

The Clementine spacecraft page provides images of the moon and
earth and animation
created by the Clementine. The page also features an online version of
the catalog
accompaning the exhibit of Clementine imagery that opened at the
National Academy of Sciences.

The National Space Science Data Center's photo gallery
presents images of the planets, spacecrafts, asteroids, comets,
galaxies, globular clusters, and more.

The Space Telescope Science Institute maintains "a photo gallery
of the universe," which features the Hubble Space Telescope's most
spectacular images. STSI also maintains a collection of visualizations,
movies, and animations produced by the Astronomy Visualization
Laboratory. The page also provides a detailed
explanation of what the the Hubble Space Telescope's images really
look like in space and how they are produced.
