The
Sikh Sangat of Los Angeles founded the Gurdwara in 1989. The
Gurdwara was built on a former Masonic Temple bought at US $
one million. A Community Hall is under construction for social
and cultural programmes. Suitable accommodation is available
for at least 50 visitors at various homes. There are about
4000 members of the Sikh community in the area.
