Jeet
Singh Bainiwal, Pirya Singh, Teja Singh and P.S. Obhig founded the
Gurdwara in 1989. In addition to regular religious celebrations,
there are community services that included school for children and
library. The Gurdwara and school building were constructed on 2
acres of land at a cost of US $ 1.2 million. There are about 8000
members of the Sikh community in the area.
